  17.     "Sir!"  K'Toc shouted out from behind his station.  "Something has
  18. just fired upon one of the Cardassain vessels."
  19.  
  20.     "Damage report, Mister K'Toc."  Commander Wells asked.
  21.  
  22.     "They have lost their rear shielding, Commander."  K'Toc replied.
  23.  
  24.     Wells looked at his commanding officer.
  25.  
  26.     "Mister K'Toc.  Send a message to the commander of the Cardassain 
  27. fleet that we're ready to assist them."  Captain Raiens stated.
  28.  
  29.     "Aye, sir."
  30.

  33.     "Benjirman!" Dax called out to Commander Sisko.  "The alien craft just
  34. attacked on of the Cardassain warships."
  35.  
  36.     "Acknowledged, Old man."  Sisko replied as he turned towards the
  37. viewscreen to which blinked on showing Gul Duku.
  38.  
  39.     "What sort of tactactic is this, Commnader!"
  40.  
  41.     "If your refering to the attacke on one of your vessels I don't have
  42. the slightest idea of what your talking about."  Sisko replied with a straight
  43. face.
  44.  
  45.     Gul Duku gave Sisko a look of disbelief.  Sisko turns around and faces
  46. Major Kira after the viewscreen reverts back to scene of the battle outside of
  47. the station.

  51.     On the viewscreen of the Funakoshi Gal Duku appeared.  The words he
  52. spoke to them was that of a decleration.
  53.  
  54.     "We do not need any assistance, Captain Raiens.  Any attempt by YOU
  55. will be considered an act of aggerssion upon the Cardassain people."
  56.  
  57.     Raiens turns away from the view screen and motions for the
  58. communications to be muted.  Commander Wells rises from hius seat.
  59.  
  60.     "Act of agression?!  That'll be"
  61.  
  62.     "Percisely why we're going to ignore Gul Duku's warning, Number One."
  63. Captain Raiens says to him.  Then walks over to the ship's helmsman.  "Lay in a
  64. course which will put us inbetween the Cardassain vessel that is being
  65. attacked."

  67.     "Aye, sir."
  68.  
  69.     "Just what are we going to do, sir?"  Commander Wells asked.
  70.  
  71.     "We're going to be that Cardassain vessels rear shields, Commander."

  75.     On Gul Duku's vessel the chief navigator informs him that the
  76. federation starship is moving towards their group.
  77.  
  78.     "So they wish to start a war"  Gul Duku utters as he studies the
  79. tactactical information before him on his console screen.  He frowns knowing
  80. that two of his vessels under his command had already been destoryed by the
  81. alien craft.
  82.  
  83.     "Commander! What are we going to do?"
  84.  
  85.     Gul Duku looks down at his weapons officer.  "We are not going to do
  86. anything."
  87.  
  88.     Gul Duku's weapons officer looks at him astounded by what he ahs just
  89. heard yet says nothing.

  93.     As Captain Raiens takes his seat he issues the following commands to
  94. Mister K'Toc.  "Have shields ready and arm proton torpedoes when we arrive
  95. between them, Mister K'Toc."
  96.  
  97.     "Aye, Captain."  K'Toc replies as he readies the Funakoshi's weapons
  98. systems.
  99.  
  100.     "I hope they don't take this as an acot of agression." COmmander Wells
  101. utters softly.

  103.     "Lets hope they don't, Number One."

  107.     I recall that I said a long time ago that this was going to be the
  108. final chapter.  Actually it has pergressed into a sixth chapter which is 
  109. currently being written.  
  110.  
  111.     I apologize to those who have been waiting for fifth part of this story
  112. but due to class work I have been force into some long periods of noncreative
  113. writing to this story.  Perpase with Spring break here I can at least finish
  114. the sixth chapter and hopefully end the story.
